Default Another bomber build

Ok I'm sure we all remember the necro bomber. A few undead lackies, a little death nova and bam instant bombs. Timing was difficult and the damage could have been better but they did work to some extent. Well the timing hasn't gotten any better but the damage output has. This is not a build for the inexperienced player. If you have good timing with interrupts you can probably pull this off. If not well this isn't for you.

Professions: Rit/N

Stats:

Spawning power:12+1+3
Death Magic: 12
Restoration:3

Skills:
Boon of creation
Explosive growth
Bone Minions
Flesh Golem{E}
Death Nova
Taste of Death
Soul Feast
Flesh of my Flesh

Ok the first two skills are your bread and butter. You keep those enchants up at all times otherwise you run out of energy, life, and your damage output suffers immensely. The basic strategy is simple, like the minion master you need to let your party members build up some corpses for you. Once that is done your first goal should be to put up a Golem. It's a good sturdy minion that can tank and it will give you yet another viable corpse for use later on. This summoning will hit all the nearby enmies for 68 lightning damage, less for AL of course, and you will gain 53 health and 8 energy. Not a huge gain yet but that comes later. Once the bodies start dropping start raising minions. Both your enchants will trigger twice, once for each minion, meaning you're laying down 136 lightning damage to surrounding foes, up to 5 but still that's a good spread, and your minions have paid for themselves with a gain of 16 energy and 106 health. Now you hit your minions with death nova. This can be tricky. (Note to ANET how about giving us a way to target minions as efficiently as party members and allies if you are going to have spells like death nova) Don't worry if you can't nail them quickly. The spawning power has made those little devils a bit more resilient. Now you let them wade into the fray and then taste of death. If they haven't taken much damage you may have to do this twice, I told you they were resilient, but the cost is low and the recharge time is almost instant. Now you have nailed all in the blast area for 85 damage per minion plus poison for 15 seconds. So with just those two minions you have the potential to do 306 damage to multiple enemies not even counting the DoT poison. With a good flow of bodies you can constantly raise minions up and between your natural energy regen and your boon of creation you should be fine on energy. Even if you miss the timing with the minions you'd be suprised how effective they become with spawning power giving them a health buff, even if their use is confined to being a wall of body blockers. I use Ghials staff as a weapon for this build and I chose Halcyon armor for the larger energy bonuses. the last two skills are for party purposes. In case you just have to have a quick massive heal you should be able to find a corpse to use and Flesh of my Flesh gives you a hard, but costly, res to use. Because of the back line nature of this build and the efficiency of it's self heals you can easily become the last person standing in a pitched battle. Once you get the timing down and you figure out about how much your minions can take before you need to taste them this build becomes highly effective, especially against large groups that could otherwise overwhelm a party. The damage output is just too big to ignore, even for the most resilient bosses and monsters. I've used this build to get guildies through some of the tougher parts of this game, THK, Hells, exploring the shiverpeaks for that cartographer title, anywhere that large groups happen this build is at home. The one weakness is that without a more or less constant stream of bodies you run out of ammo and your primary means of energy management becomes rather useless.

Well due to the skill update this build is no longer as cool as it once was. Noe it is harder to recoup the energy loss via boon of creation since they nerfed it down to a max of 6 energy which means you gain only 12 energy per minion group summoned, leaving you at a constant -3 deficit. Bad mojo. Damn you A Net. I'll be researching a work around for anyone interested in this build.
